Dr Max Blumberg


Founder, The Blumberg Partnership

Visiting Researcher, University of London

Dr Max Blumberg worked as a management consultant at Accenture in the US and South Africa before successfully founding and exiting a technology start-up followed by a PhD at Goldsmiths, University of London.

He runs the Blumberg Partnership, a Top 50 analytics consultancy delivering analytics and machine learning solutions to organizations like Nestle, Lloyds Register, Hilton Hotels, Rentokil Initial, Barclays and the MOD.

His practical grounding in strategy, finance, marketing, economics, computer science, mathematics  and HR enable him to develop a full system approach that can be applied to diagnose and solve complex challenges arising from the operating model, organizational structure and job design.

As a Visiting Professor at University of Leeds Business School and a Visiting Researcher at Goldsmiths, Max's academic interests include the role of assets and capital in generating enterprise value, workforce automation and analytics, linkage analysis, the application of machine learning to workforce and B2B salesforce problems, and cutting edge analytical techniques. He has worked as a psychologist on BBC TV and as a talk-show host on London’s LBC Radio.


Dave Millner

Dave is co-author of Introduction to People Analytics: A Practical Guide to Data-driven HR, described by Jeff Wellstead, VP of People, at ONI as “the most fully comprehensive and pragmatic literature on the subject that I've read, which I'm certain will bring every HR practitioner's thinking, knowing and doing to the level of a true Chief People Officer” and by Alec Levenson, Center for Effective Organizations, University of Southern California as “a must-read for anyone who wants to improve their engagement and impact with the business."

Dave has a business (risk/lending) and HR background based in financial services. At Kenexa and IBM he worked with global  organizations on senior learning and development, executive coaching, employee engagement, culture interventions and organizational development.  

His real passion is the vital role HR can provide to organizations and has been supporting HR functions to become more commercially focused so that they can provide a transformational workforce experience to their employees. 

He is regarded as a social media guru through @HRCurator, being referenced as being one of the Most Influential People on Twitter in a number of subject areas.

Siân has a 30-year career in business journalism covering HR, marketing, retail, hospitality and food and drink. As a former board director, editor and journalist at some of the UK’s most successful business publications, she has delivered award-winning content, mentored journalists who have gone on to be leading names in journalism, and created innovative and successful brands including the annual HR Most Influential list, HR in the Boardroom with CEO coach and LinkedIn Influencer Steve Tappin and The Grocer Gold Awards. 

Having been lucky enough to meet and interview some of the world’s leading business people, in 2016 Siân pursued her dream to launch a brand to help people leaders to thrive in the fast-evolving digital working environment through co-creation, peer learning, exposure to people outside the core HR market and an outside-in perspective. The result is The People Space, for curious people leaders to (un)learn, share, support and advance their capabilities to accelerate their personal, business and societal impact without feeling overwhelmed by the rapid changes.

    An initial session to discuss your personal objectives including issues such as desired job role, workplace and work environment preferences, income ambitions and personal wellbeing goals followed by an assessment of where you are now in order to determine what steps will help you achieve your objectives.

  • Monthly Sessions with Your Future Fit Mentor

    Every month, you will have a supportive call with your Future Fit Mentor to discuss the ups and downs associated with executing your development plan while still performing your day-to-day work. You are encouraged to have similar calls with your group peers.

  • Takeaways

    You will receive key learnings and top takeaways after each group session so you can quickly implement the learnings in your business and life.

  • Peer-to-Peer Group Sessions


    A two-hour digital group session every other month with your cohort. Each session will be tailored to the group's most pressing HR needs and will include research and insight from our expert facilitators, peer sharing on the topic, group work to identify solutions and review. A facilitated group Discovery Call will be undertaken 10 days before each session to retain focus and agree the topic to be covered at the next meeting.
